News : Red Mall Mosaic (20/11/2004)

Its not all learning about skills needed to do a job for young people on the Entry to Employment programme at Barnardos Palmersville Training.

Here young people taking a Citizenship course got the opportunity to use their artistic abilities to help produce a Mosaic for the MetroCentre's new Red Mall. With the opening of the mall and new public transport interchange, the MetroCentre is once again Europe's largest shopping and leisure centre.

Citizenship covers a number of important topics that aim to help young people become responsible adults. Another interesting part of the Citizenship programme at Palmersville is an investigation into healthy eating.
