Parents / Carers

• aims to help young people get the skills they need to make progress into education, employment or training

• looks at each young person's individual needs

• sets personal targets and

• provides support as they work to achieve their goals.

• The individual is at the heart of E2E.

• All of the activities, from training to work placements, are designed to meet their needs. If they don't need it, they don't do it.

• E2E gives young people the training, education and skills they need to enter the world of work.

• young people have left school

• but are not yet 19

• and who are not already employed, at college or in training.

• support with personal development

• arranging work placements

• helping them find a job

• developing basic skills like reading and writing and

• access to short course like first aid and health and safety.

• E2E helps young people on a one to one basis, in small groups, in group activities or in the workplace.

• Each young person will also have a Connexions Personal Adviser and an E2E Key Worker who will support them through their programme and after it has finished.

• Progress is reviewed every month giving the young person a chance to meet key workers and advisers and decide how things are going.
