Outward Bounds - A learners diary
Citizenship learner, Craig Brown, kept a diary of activities he partook in during a week-long residential at an Outward Bonds centre in Aberdovey, Wales.

I enjoyed everything about my week at Outward Bounds in Wales. I really liked the climbing wall, I thought I would never be able to do it because I don't like heights that much. We did lots of activities which promoted teamwork such as skipping, skiing and raft building, this was good because you had to trust your team mates.

We worked together to collect wood for our cabins, as well as making dinner and then playing cards like switch. One night we went for a walk, and they made us turn our head lights off it was pitch black and really scary.

At the end of the week there was a presentation ceremony and everyone was given a certificate.
