David Richie continues to climb the ladder of success in his chosen vocational area of Painting and Decorating. David’s talent has recently been recognised by Tynemet at a special awards ceremony where he was presented with an award for ‘Franchise student of the year’ when David was presented with a plaque as well as a cheque for £100.
David joined Palmersville training on a Citizenship programme in July 2008 and quickly transferred to Painting and Decorating where he has continued to impress. David was nominated for the award by Training Supervisor Chris Norris who told us “I am delighted that David has received this award. He is a worthy winner! He is honest, trustworthy and efficient and what’s more he learns quickly and has excellent practical skills” David clearly has the ability and skill to progress to an apprenticeship and at Palmersville Training we are confident that this award is only the start of his success.
