Outward Bound Adventures
A group of learners from Palmersville recently went on a residential to a Outward Bounds Centre in Aberdovey, Wales.

They took part in various activities which included raft building, climbing, walks, team building challenges, cooking and collecting wood for their cabins.

At the end of the week there was a presentation ceremony and each learner was presented with a certificate of achievement.

Below are a selection of comments the learners made about their week's adventures:

  • "If I had to choose one thing I enjoyed most it was working together as a team and getting to know each other well."

  • "I found out how to trust people again and made new friends, this made me so happy."

  • "I got over my fear of water and made a new friend, the whole week was great fun."

  • "My favourite was the climbing wall, it was awesome."

  • "It was a life changing experience."

  • "I had the best of times with people I previously didn't know."

  • "The climbing wall because I got to conquer my fear of heights."
