Former Learner Opens Salon
[tc]F[/tc]ormer Beauty Therapy learner, Kayleigh Lowe, has successfully opened her own salon, All That Jazz, on Saville Street West in North Shields.

Kayleigh commenced training, at Palmersville, on an E2E Programme in May 2005, she then progressed to further education at Tyne Met College to complete her Level 1 qualification through a franchise agreement between the College and Palmersville Training.

She then commenced her Apprenticeship programme in April 2006 and achieved her full qualification in Beauty Therapy in July 2007. Kayleigh then enrolled on a Short Business Course, where she received guidance in producing a business plan and advice on running her own salon. After securing backing from her bank she found suitable salon premises in North Shields.

Kayleigh has kindly offered placement opportunities to our current Beauty Therapy learners.

Everyone at Palmersville would like to wish Kayleigh all the best for the future as well as a thank you for giving other learners the opportunity to experience realistic work in a salon.
